Location & Scenery
Wakonda State Park is located in northeastern Missouri about 30 minutes north of Hannibal and 45 minutes south of Keokuk, Iowa. There are a number of lakes in the park that allow for fishing, canoing, and swimming and trails that suit both hiking and mountain biking.
Campsites
The tent camping sites are situated near the back of the campground near the shower house and alongside one of the smaller lakes. There are also a few pull-through RV sites.
Nearby Attractions
The Mark Twain Home and numerous other Mark Twain and Tom Sawyer themed attractions can be found in Hannibal, Missouri.
